Discover Nature’s Migratory Wonders at Winnipeg’s Earl Grey Community Center on April 7, 2025
Expand your knowledge about the land by signing up for classes at the Earl Grey Community Center in Winnipeg. On Monday, April 7, 2025, we will learn about one of nature’s greatest wonders—migration.
For only $10 to $15, you can sign up for a brief lesson, which takes place from 7:30 PM to 9 PM. James Whitelaw, the instructor, will delve into the movements of Canadian geese, which are quintessential examples of migration in Manitoba.
We see geese arrive in the Spring, nesting around ponds and lakes. Typically, families like to bring bread and feed it to the birds, but after this class, you might want to reconsider.

Aside from birds, Whitelaw will discuss the movements of other wildlife. He will also explain why this phenomenon is so important and what we can do to safeguard natural migrations.
